Unlikelyness is a project I started during my postgraduate studies and still work on now as a personal project
Unlikelyness is a web app inspired by the "Scenes we'd like to see" round on the TV show "Mock the Week"
The users can submit their humorous replies to a pre-set topic on the app, which are scored by other users
Users of the app are presented with a list of topics which they can submit their funny replies to, these responses from users are sorted by upvotes, with the most popular responses displaying at the top of the pile
The topics can be filtered by category and the app features a notifications system which notifies the user if another user has upvoted one of their comments
Initially the app was meant to be solely developed for iOS, but in order to achieve the desired functionality I decided to develop a web app instead with a customized Wordpress blog powering the functionality - this means that the app is accessible on any device
I created the Wordpress theme using PHP, HTML and CSS, whilst all of the graphical attributes were created in Illustrator
