This email template was created to inform customers of savings on their accounts. Instead of using background images for the gradient strips behind the pods, I applied a new technique from the online community called 'Faux absolute positioning'. As the CSS property 'position: absolute' is not supported by most email clients, this technique offers a very useful alternative and is very well-supported.
